It is an intense wine, with aromas of fermntation, orange peel, floral herbs, and citrus in syrup. A walk through a Mediterranean orchard at sunset. On the palate, it is lively and fresh, with a perfect balance, leaving a persistent finish, like a kiss that leaves its mark.
Urbs means city in Latin, and orbis was used to refer to the circle that surrounded it physically. That is because, according to an old Etruscan tradition, a deep circle was carved into the earth with a plough where a new city was going to be build.
ELABORATION
Harvested by hand, in 12 kg boxes. Orange wine, skin-fermented at low temperaturas in stainless steel tanks and subsequent oxidative ageing in clay vessels for five months.
TASTING NOTES
Intense aromas, starting with a highlight of the tertiary flavours. Later, a subtle aroma of orange peel, floral herbs and citrus compote appears. It has a fresh, slightly cheeky palate with nice fruity and herbal hints, well balanced with a relentless end that invites you to drink.
